Future Shop Grand Opening
On December 11, Future Shop marked the grand opening of its newest store in New Minas with door crasher deals and giveaways and by showing its support for local youth through the Campaign For Kids foundation.

Just before the doors opened to the hundreds of people lined up outside in the bone-chilling temperatures, Sheldon Penman, Future Shop General Manager, presented Campaign For Kids representatives Anne Marsters and Laurie Wanamaker with a $2,500 donation to the foundation’s educational support fund.
Tree Auction
Benjamin and Clare Fleckenstein enjoyed perusing a variety of colourfully decorated Christmas trees at a "Special Celebration of the Holiday Spirit" hosted Dec. 20 at the Harriet Irving Centre in Wolfville by the team at Kings Physiotherapy Clinic.

Local businesses were invited to decorate trees that were auctioned off to benefit Campaign For Kids. Thanks to Michelin Waterville; Port Pub and Bistro, Port Williams; Blomidon Nurseries, Greenwich; Remax Donna Conrad Realty, Kentville; Boyne Clarke, The Jelly Cupboard, New Minas; Canadian Tire New Minas, and T.A.N.
